Job summary

Bear Valley Mountain Resort Llc in California is seeking an IT Assistant to support the corporate IT team with installing and maintaining computer systems and networks, and to help train users for safe, effective use of the IT infrastructure.

You will set up workstations, verify hardware, install software, maintain local networks, ensure security, and provide on-site support including winter weekends to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT help desk or equivalent role.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and organization.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Basic network and security awareness.
• Experience with printers and local networks.
• Comfort with Unifi/Ubiquiti gear is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with computers and peripheral devices.
• Check hardware functionality (HDD, mice, keyboards).
• Install and configure software per specifications.
• Assist with maintaining local networks.
• Ensure security and privacy of systems and networks.
• Provide user orientation and training on new software.
• Assist with scheduling maintenance and upgrades during operation hours.
• Provide onsite IT support during all operating hours, including winter season weekends.
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance schedules.
