Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp in Portland, OR is seeking energetic staff to guide campers through a busy day of hands-on activities and learning. As a participant you’ll create safe, inclusive experiences that empower children to make choices and express themselves.

You'll supervise groups, help run activities like art, movement, and play, and collaborate with a welcoming team committed to creativity and play.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience with camp–age children, 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications).

Responsibilities

• Staff members will be responsible for facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness.
• Some staff will create and/or oversee activity spaces in which campers will self-select activities, while others will work in rotating support roles.
• Maintain organized and approachable activity spaces; supervise campers; report incidents and notable concerns.
