Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camps in Seattle is seeking energetic staff to facilitate activities, supervise campers, and help create an engaging, playful environment for children aged 4–12. Expect 8:00 am to 6:00 pm shifts with varied hours and a pay range that reflects experience.

Staff will supervise, assist with activity spaces, and collaborate with peers and directors to ensure safety, inclusion, and creativity throughout camp.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications).

Responsibilities

• Staff members will facilitate activities, make connections, and monitor safety and wellness.
• Some staff will oversee activity spaces in which campers self-select activities, others will rotate in support roles.
• The best way to learn your specific responsibilities is to speak with your local director; activities include sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, and more.
• Maintain organized and approachable activity spaces and support camp setup/breakdown.
