Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp is hiring staff for a seasonal program in Bellevue, WA. The role centers on supervising and engaging campers aged 4–12 through a variety of activities from sewing to arts and crafts, and ensuring safety and wellness.

Staff will facilitate activities, manage spaces, and collaborate with a team across shifts, with emphasis on leadership, creativity, and playful learning in a day camp setting.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp–age children, with 1 year preferred, in either a professional, personal or volunteer setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities and monitor safety and wellness.
• Oversee activity spaces or work in rotating support roles throughout camp.
• Maintain an organized and approachable activity space.
• Report and record details of notable concerns or incidents, and of injuries to campers, other staff members, or self.
• Keep track of camper allergies and dietary restrictions.
• Add daily updates and photos to campers’ profiles.
