Housing and meals are employer-provided, with weekly transport to town for errands. Candidates must have English language ability, 3 months experience, and be willing to pass drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of experience in cattle-related work.
• Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Employer may require a drug screen after hire at the employer's expense.
• Criminal background check after hire at employer's expense due to presence of children on the farm and expensive tools.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Extensive sitting is required.
• Workers must be able to speak English.
• Adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain electric fencing and herd movement on pasture land.
• Move cattle to grazing areas 2–3 times per day and provide feeding as needed.
• Monitor cattle health and provide basic veterinary care as necessary.
• Assist in calving deliveries and monitor newborns.
• Transport: camper-style housing provided and weekly town transport for personal errands.
