Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a dependable worker to assist with daily winter cattle care on a Kansas farm. You will feed, water, monitor health, assist with calving and calf processing, and help maintain fencing and equipment.

The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, ability to work in extreme temperatures, and English proficiency. CDL is not required, but a driver’s license may be needed within 30 days. Employer-provided housing and meals are included.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience on a cattle farm or similar livestock operation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to speak English and follow safety guidelines.
• No CDL required; ability to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water beef cattle daily, especially in winter.
• Monitor herd health and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with vaccinations, injections, and prescribed treatments.
• Aid calving operations and calf processing as directed.
• Perform routine maintenance on fencing, gates, and farm equipment.
• Groom, handle, and manage cattle during feeding and handling tasks.
