Job summary

UHY-US is seeking an Audit Intern to gain hands-on experience in audit and assurance, working alongside seasoned professionals to contribute to accurate financial reporting for diverse clients.

You will collaborate with audit teams on data entry, documentation, and basic analysis, assist in substantive and control testing, and help prepare workpapers and audit reports. Training will be provided to develop skills in audit concepts and software tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with audit teams to perform data entry, documentation preparation, and basic analysis of financial information.
• Assist in conducting audit procedures, including substantive testing and control testing.
• Support maintenance of audit files and documentation per firm standards.
• Assist in preparation of workpapers and audit reports.
• Assist in compiling financial data and transactions for audit analysis.
• Participate in basic analytical procedures to identify trends and anomalies.
• Engage in training sessions to learn audit concepts, practices, and software tools.
• Utilize audit software to input data, extract reports, and support audit processes.

Education

Accounting or Finance degree (pursuing)
