UHY LLP is seeking an Audit Intern to gain practical experience in audit and assurance, working with experienced professionals to ensure accuracy of financial reporting for diverse clients.

You will assist with data entry, documentation, substantive and control testing, and the preparation of workpapers and reports while learning audit software and tools. This is a temporary internship position offering hands-on training and professional development.

Competenze

• Currently enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with audit teams to perform data entry, documentation preparation, and basic analysis of financial information.
• Assist in conducting audit procedures, including substantive testing and control testing.
• Support the maintenance of audit files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm standards.
• Assist in preparing workpapers and audit reports.
• Assist in compiling financial data for audit analysis and review.
• Participate in basic analytical procedures to identify trends and potential issues.
• Engage in training sessions to learn audit concepts, practices, and software tools.
• Communicate with audit team members to provide updates and seek guidance as needed.
