Job summary

Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC is seeking Server Assistants to provide exceptional guest service in a resort setting. You will perform server duties including wine and beverage service, menu knowledge, and POS usage to ensure a world-class experience for every guest.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, describing items, suggesting options, and maintaining professionalism and safety while adhering to liquor regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
• Able to climb stairs with a full tray.
• Aware of common allergens in menu items.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus.
• Describe menu items accurately and answer questions.
• Make friendly beverage/food suggestions to enhance guest experience.
• Handle wine/beverage service and operate POS.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized station.
• Collaborate with team across departments to deliver exceptional service.

Compensation and Benefits:Compensation: Hourly wage + tips, adjusted based on experience.Benefits: Seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.Job Summary:Server Assistants at Killington Resort are expected to offer exceptional guest service, be knowledgeable of resort amenities and events, and cooperate with all departments in delivering a world-class experience to every guest. Server assistants perform all aspects of professional table and banquet service for every guest, including wine/beverage service, menu knowledge, and POS usage.Summary of Key Responsibilities:Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Warmly greeting guests, and presenting with menusInforming guests and accurately describing menu itemsOffering friendly suggestions on food and beverage options to increase the guest’s experienceKnowing all beer, wine and liquor offerings, including special or reserve choicesMaintain safe work environment, by adhering to all Department of Liquor Control regulations: CHECK ID’SAbility to manage steps of service to provide exceptional service to all guests in assigned section, while keeping section organized and fluidMonitor food orders and assist as neededMaintain friendly and polite tone and demeanor at all times. ALWAYS THANK EVERY GUEST!Maintaining clean and organized work areasExceed company standards for personal appearanceRemaining flexible, efficient and helpful in assisting other servers, bartenders, support staff, and supervisors in the restaurant or banquet eventBe respectful of all supervisory staff, co-workers, culinary staff, guests, and fellow Killington Resort employees at all timesDeliver ordered items to your guests accurately and in a fast, friendly mannerResolve any guest issues immediately.
