The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Analysis Engineer for the Wing & Empennage Life Cycle Product Team. You will perform structural analysis, work with suppliers, and help certify primary structures for the 787 program.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience, with 3+ years in stress analysis of wings/empennage, including composites. Relocation is offered; eligibility for export controls applies and EEO applies.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with focus on mechanical/aerospace/materials
• 5+ years related work experience
• 3+ years experience performing stress analysis on wing/empennage or related structures
• 1+ years experience with composite structures
• Experience with manufacturing/production systems

Responsabilités

• Perform stress analysis on Boeing 787 Wing and/or Empennage primary structures using hand analysis, FEA tools, and/or dynamic simulation tools.
• Review supplier documents for technical oversight including drawings, analyses, tests, procedures and reports.
• Develop and document structural requirements to establish Wing/Empennage designs.
• Coordinate with engineering groups on loads, interfaces, and environment.
• Develop test plans, support tests, and report results to verify structures meet requirements.
