Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to lead stress analysis on wing and empennage primary structures for the 787 program. This role involves coordinating with design, analysis, and suppliers to ensure integrity across the product lifecycle.

You will apply hand methods, finite element tooling, and dynamic simulation to validate designs, develop testing plans, and document certification evidence for CFR Part 25.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Materials)
• 9+ years of related engineering experience
• 5+ years of stress analysis on wing/empennage primary structures
• 3+ years of stress analysis on composite structures

Responsibilities

• Lead stress analysis on Boeing 787 wing and empennage primary structures.
• Perform analyses with hand methods, FEA, and dynamic simulations.
• Review supplier documents and sign off on analyses.
• Develop and document structural requirements and interfaces.
• Lead test planning, execution, and results reporting for primary structures.
