Job summary

Delicato Family Wines in Manteca, CA, seeks a Tasting Room Manager to lead daily tasting room operations, set sales goals through promotions and events, and drive guest experiences that reflect the brand. The role supervises the tasting room team, aligns activities with company policies, and partners with leadership to deliver productive, cohesive operations and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years combined work experience in tasting room, winemaking or hospitality field.
• 3+ years management experience at a winery or related field.
• Must be 21 years of age in order to pour, serve, and taste wine.
• Responsible Beverage Service Certificate required
• Professional wine certification a plus (Sommelier, CSW, WSET)

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day tasting room operations and sales strategies.
• Review, research, and resolve tasting room related monthly P&L.
• Oversee tasting room daily sales reconciliation and bank deposits; reconcile registers and provide reports.
• Manage the entire Wine Club operations including memberships and deliveries.
• Lead, train and inspire tasting room staff to provide excellent customer service.
• Assist in staffing planning and training.
• Coordinate with General Manager and hospitality managers on winery-wide issues.
• Collaborate with PR, Sales and Marketing to promote the Delicato Family Wines brand.
• Manage tasting room experiences providing day-to-day leadership and support.
• Maintain a professional image within the Manteca community.
