Job summary

O’Neill Vintners & Distillers in Parlier, CA is seeking a Winemaking Administrative Assistant to prepare and ship wine samples, maintain data in winemaking tracking systems, and organize internal tastings. The role supports multiple departments and requires high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will use MS Office and our ERP system, coordinate with winemakers, and ensure safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in beverage or food processing preferred.
• Interest in winemaking or fermentation.
• Independent with clear team communication.
• Strong clerical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to work up to six days a week on rotating shifts.
• Ability to measure volumes using graduated cylinders and pipettes.

Responsibilities

• Blend and prepare wine samples for shipping.
• Set up shipping online via FedEx, UPS, and other providers.
• Manage documentation for sample shipments.
• Track shipments and alert initiator of delays.
• Pull wine compositions using ERP to run trials.
• Direct sample pullers with Winery Operations.
• Coordinate with Compliance on wine withdrawals and shipments.
• Fulfill blended shipping requests with Bottling.
• Enter data into winemaking tracking systems.
• Prepare winemaking tastings with labeling and sheets.
• Digitize winemaking documentation.
• Prioritize workflow with winemakers when needed.
• Follow safety policies.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks for winemakers.
• Track inventory of office and shipping supplies.
