Job summary

Maryhill Winery in Washington is hiring a Tasting Room Ambassador to deliver outstanding service and share a passion for wine with guests. You will participate in tastings, assist with purchases, and support guests through a seamless hospitality experience.

No prior wine knowledge required; comprehensive training will be provided. The role offers a competitive hourly rate, tip share, and career growth opportunities in a welcoming setting at our Goldendale Tasting Room & Bistro.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Food Service and MAST Permits required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Interest in wine and sharing knowledge with guests.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take/deliver orders, bussing tables as needed.
• Perform wine tastings at bar and table service.
• Sell wine and club memberships; host tours or large groups.
• Assist customers with purchases and carry items to vehicles.
• Answer phones for wine orders and reservations; provide general service.
• Maintain cleanliness of tasting room and dining areas; stock and clean.
• Operate POS, handle cash, and enter customer data.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and training sessions.
• Support the Tasting Room Manager with other duties.
