Job summary

Great Bay Staffing Group in Highland Park, IL is seeking a senior supply chain leader for a family-owned wine and spirits business. You will own end-to-end supply chain, report directly to the VP of Operations, and manage a growing team across procurement, production, inventory, forecasting, logistics, and distribution.

This hands-on role shapes supply chain strategy, implements NetSuite enhancements, and partners with Finance, Sales, and Operations to scale premium brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the listed disciplines.
• 5+ years of supply chain management experience with leadership.
• Hands-on NetSuite expertise across supply chain modules and reporting.
• Strong experience across procurement, production, inventory, forecasting, replenishment, logistics, and distribution.
• Proven track record in process optimization and cost reduction.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivots, macros).
• Vendor management and negotiation skills with pricing benchmarking.
• Project and program management coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
• Willingness to travel to facilities and suppliers as required.
• On-site work capability in Highland Park, IL, five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement supply chain strategies across procurement, production, inventory, and distribution.
• Improve demand forecasting, stock management, and replenishment to keep inventory at optimal levels.
• Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including price negotiations and service benchmarking.
• Lead cross-functional projects with clear plans, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Build and refine KPI reporting to make performance, milestones and risks visible.
• Use data analytics to identify and deliver measurable efficiency and cost improvements.
• Oversee R&D and procurement of raw materials.
• Support VP of Operations on vendor contracts and ensure supply chain processes meet legal/contractual requirements.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain and logistics risks to protect continuity of supply.
• Close gaps across people, processes, and systems with practical solutions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
