Great Bay Staffing Group is seeking a senior supply chain leader for an established wine and spirits business in Highland Park, IL. You will own end-to-end supply chain—from procurement to distribution—reporting to the VP of Operations and guiding a growing team.

You will drive NetSuite implementations, optimize processes, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to shape strategy and systems. Five+ years of leadership in supply chain and a hands-on, analytical approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain management experience, preferably in alcohol, beverages, or related consumer products.
• Proven people management experience with direct reports.
• Hands-on NetSuite expertise across supply chain modules and reporting.
• Strong experience across procurement, production, inventory, forecasting, logistics, and distribution.
• Experience in process optimization, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, macros).
• Supplier and vendor management with negotiation experience.
• Project/program management coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
• Willingness to travel to facilities and suppliers as required.
• On-site work in Highland Park, IL five days per week.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement supply chain strategies across procurement, production, inventory, and distribution.
• Improve demand forecasting, stock management, and replenishment to keep inventory aligned.
• Manage supplier and vendor relationships, price negotiations and benchmarking.
• Lead cross-functional projects with clear plans, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Build and refine KPI reporting so performance, milestones, and risks are visible.
• Use data analytics to deliver measurable efficiency and cost improvements.
• Oversee R&D and procurement of raw materials.
• Support the VP of Operations on vendor contracts and ensure contractual compliance.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain and logistics risks to maintain continuity.
• Close gaps across people, processes, and systems with practical solutions.
