Job summary

Outback Liquor Co. is hiring a Stocking & Sales Associate to maintain clean, stocked shelves and assist customers with purchases. You will operate the cash register, use scanners, and ensure accurate transactions while delivering friendly service throughout shifts, including nights and weekends.

The role emphasizes welcoming customers, following store policies, and staying compliant with sale laws. Prior retail and wine/spirits knowledge is helpful; 21+ age is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds while climbing is required.
• Experience with stocking is preferred.
• Customer service and sales with wine & spirits experience is preferred, but not required.
• Basic math and basic computer/point-of-sale skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Stocks and rotates products to ensure freshness and date control; restock and use items efficiently.
• Greets customers as they enter the location and meets service standards.
• Maintains a clean and healthy work environment according to company standards.
• Adheres to laws regarding sale of government regulated products.
• Operates POS system and processes transactions accurately.
• Assist customers with questions or price discrepancies.
