Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is hiring Retail Team Members to create a welcoming, educational experience for guests while achieving store goals. You will greet guests, operate the POS system, verify IDs for alcohol purchases, and assist with stocking and merchandising.

This role requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. No prior retail experience is required, and team members are expected to stay informed on training and product knowledge to deliver a high-quality guest

Qualifications

• Greet guests with friendly, engaging service throughout their visit, helping them find products.
• Operate POS system accurately, handle transactions, discounts, rewards, and promotions.
• Verify age for alcohol purchases and maintain responsible vendor standards.
• Assist with stocking, merchandising, and visual presentation across store shelves.

Responsibilities

• Greet each Guest upon entry and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Operate POS system, process transactions, apply discounts, verify rewards, and handle cash.
• Maintain responsible vendor status for alcohol purchases with proper ID checks.
• Learn and promote ABC’s wine, spirits, beer, and cigars, including Sourced & Certified products.
• Assist with merchandising, restocking, and visual presentation of products on shelves and beer coolers.
• Receive, unload, validate invoices, organize and stock deliveries.
• Keep the store, stockroom, and customer areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Provide gift wrapping and carryout service when needed.
• Stay current on training, policies, and product knowledge.
