Job summary

Total Wine & More in San Ramon, CA is seeking a Merchandiser to maximize product inventory and support online operations. You will interact with customers, build product knowledge, and assist with in-store and curbside pickup, including potential deliveries.

The role includes flexible scheduling and seasonal considerations. Internally called Merchandiser, you’ll report to store management and handle merchandising, signage, and participation in promotions while maintaining safety and compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service and greet customers, building relationships and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to laws/regulations related to alcohol sales and store safety.
• Load and deliver orders safely if delivery is an essential function.
