Job summary

Total Wine & More is looking for a Store Team Member (Merchandiser) in Modesto, CA to maximize inventory, support online operations, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will be referred to as Merchandiser and report to store management.

You will handle freight, stocking, displays, in-store and curbside pick-up tasks, and may assist with deliveries if required. Training on wine, spirits, and beer will be provided and promotions knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, process freight, stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, place signage, and support digital orders.
• Greet customers and deliver a personalized shopping experience.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and compliance with alcohol sale laws.
• Load and deliver orders if required, following company policies.
