Hy-Vee in Winona, MN seeks a Wine and Spirits Assistant Department Manager to support the Department Manager with leadership, inventory control, and an excellent customer experience. You will supervise the evening crew, manage stock, and ensure shelves are well-presented and compliant with company standards.

You will greet customers, train clerks, coordinate with vendors, and maintain shop cleanliness and safety. A strong service orientation and basic arithmetic are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or less related experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train part-time staff.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Supervise evening and part-time crew; train new staff.
• Stock, rotate, and face products; review back stock and out-of-stocks.
• Order merchandise and assist with inventory control.
• Monitor sales and suggest improvements to the Department Manager.
• Interact with vendors for POP materials and price displays.
• Oversee price tags and signage; resolve customer issues with care.
• Assume leadership in absence of the Department Manager.
• Unload trucks; ensure proper stocking and sanitation.
