Summary

Provide elevated hospitality and create memorable wine-tasting experiences at the RH Wine Vault in Yountville. Build strong rapport with guests, share wine knowledge, and drive membership sign-ups and retail sales through intuitive, service-focused interactions. Maintain high standards of presentation and professionalism while supporting daily hospitality operations.

Responsibilities

• Represent the brand through polished communication and professional presentation during tastings
• Create elevated wine-tasting experiences and deepen guest relationships through product knowledge
• Use an intuitive sales approach to capture membership sign-ups and retail sales
• Conduct point of sale procedures, cash handling, and daily opening and closing tasks
• Maintain hospitality areas, ensure cleanliness and safety, and participate in restocking and inventory processes

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in wine sales and hospitality
• Computer proficiency and POS software experience
• WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or similar wine education certification preferred
• Developed sensory perception of wines and strong attention to hospitality detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload in a fast-paced environment
• Exemplary written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to periodically lift/move up to 50 pounds and to stand and walk for extended periods
