Job summary

Eataly Boston is seeking a Wine Store Sales Associate to help guests during their shopping experience, guiding them to products and ensuring a friendly, efficient visit.

You will educate guests on Italian wines and other beverages, assist with stocking, merchandising and opening wine pours, and support the Beverage Manager in daily store operations. Weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Italian wine knowledge preferred.

• Rotate, face and replenish merchandise.

Job Description

The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience including: guiding them to products, securing products out of reach, loading heavy items and makingsuggestions. Reports to the Beverage Managers.

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guestservice
• Educates guests about Italian Wines, beer and beverages sold at Eataly
• Receives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise, may review invoices
• Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise
• Openswineandpoursfor guests
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Hourly Rate: $18-$19.00

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Italian wine knowledgepreferred

Job Requirements

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours
• Flexible availability, including weekends, preferred
