Job summary

Eataly North America is seeking a Wine Store Sales Associate in Los Angeles. You will guide guests through wine selections, assist with class activities, and help maintain stock and displays in the wine store.

Responsibilities include educating guests on Italian wines, pairing suggestions, and supporting beverage classes under the Beverage Director. Weekend availability preferred with focus on guest satisfaction and quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Wine sale experience
• Italian wine knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Educates guests about Italian wines, beer and beverages sold at Eataly
• Receives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise, may review invoices
• Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise
• Executes La Scuola Sip & Savor wine classes under the direction of the Beverage Director
• Sets up for each class including rolling silverware, setting places and gathering materials
• Checks in guests and introduces classes
• Opens wine and pours for guests
• Describes flavor profile, pairing detail and winery information
• Breaks down after each class
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience including: guiding them to products, securing products out of reach, loading heavy items and makingsuggestions. Reports to the Beverage Managers.

Job Requirements

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; exert 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours
• Flexible availability, including weekends, preferred

Compensation: Pay range is set at $20 - $21 an hour.
