Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is seeking a skilled Sommelier to support the food and beverage team at our casino resort. You will advise guests on wine selections, curate wine lists, manage wine inventory, and contribute to a premium dining program.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of fine dining wine service, strong knowledge of varietals and pairing, and excellent communication. Sommelier certification is preferred; English fluency and ability to collaborate with staff are essential for

Qualifications

2 years of fine dining wine service experience.
Advanced knowledge of wine varietals, regions, production methods, and food pairing.
Excellent verbal, written, and group presentation communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Advise guests on wine choices to enhance their experience and drive profitability.
Create and maintain accurate wine lists reflecting current inventory and seasonal changes.
Record and manage wine inventory; communicate out-of-stock items to management and staff.
Create and distribute training materials and conduct regular wine tastings for staff education.
Maintain an active floor presence to assist guests and staff with wine service.
