Job summary

Bronco Wine Company in Ceres, CA seeks a Wine Planner to interpret and schedule complex wine plans, manage cellar and winemaking operations, and ensure timely execution of production schedules.

The role reports to the Senior Manager of Winemaking and requires coordinating across departments, analyzing data, and maintaining schedules with a focus on quality and efficiency. Exempt, full-time, onsite with travel based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of supply chain, production, operations or finance experience.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret reports.
• Clear communication and concise issue presentation.
• Experience with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Power BI experience; exposure to AI platforms.
• Project management
• Vintrace or MES/ERP systems relating to production/operations
• SQL certification
• APICS certification

Responsibilities

• Meet daily with department manager to discuss operations.
• Must understand domestic bulk wine, export bulk winemaking process flow and management.
• Schedule cellar processing operations and tank availability.
• Assign blends and filters and coordinate with winemaking on bottling blends.
• Monitor daily cellar processing progress and provide real time feedback.
• Coordinate with production bottling blends.
• Review process orders for schedule adherence and timely validation.
• Review equipment logs related to scheduling and performance.
• Monitor weekly analytical analyses of bulk wines as needed.
• Develop and use scheduling and planning tools and KPIs to measure success and challenges.
• Work with Sr. Manager of Winemaking on Wine and Grape Supply and provide technical reporting support.
• Other projects and duties as assigned
