Job summary

Johnson Brothers, a third-generation wine, beer, and spirits distributor, seeks a Merchandiser to support the Total Wine team across markets. You will deliver orders, rotate stock, stock shelves, and build displays, ensuring correct pricing and signage.

You will receive daily routes from the Warehouse/Merchandising Manager, travel within designated areas, and report display photos. The role requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work early mornings,

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred; inventory control experience a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Lift and carry 40+ pound cases of wine.
• Work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work alone as well as within a team.
• Proven track record of strong sales in previous/current work experience.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal talents to enhance retailer relationships.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to accounts and accurately check them in.
• Rotate back stock and stock shelves for maximum exposure.
• Ensure displays and pricing are correct per merchandising procedures.
• Provide photos of displays upon request from management or internal departments.
• Travel within established geographic areas as necessary.
• Keep accurate daily/weekly logs of accounts visited.
