Total Wine & More is seeking a friendly Cashier in Raleigh, NC to deliver fast, accurate service at the register and assist customers with product knowledge. You may also serve as a sales associate or merchandiser depending on store needs, reporting to the store management team.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, loyalty program promotion, and maintaining a safe, well-stocked store. Flexible scheduling with opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset.
• 1–3 years of work experience; 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers, engage, and inform about products and services to build relationships.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Adhere to laws and regulations related to sale of alcohol and keep a safe store environment.
• Perform cross-functional tasks and other duties as assigned.
