Benziger Family Winery in Glen Ellen, California, is seeking a part-time Wine Specialist Tour Guide to deliver exceptional hospitality through guided tours, tastings, and engaging storytelling rooted in the winery’s biodynamic practices and history.

This role conducts Biodynamic Tram Tours, Tribute Tours, and seated tastings, and responsibly processes transactions at the POS while promoting wines, merchandise, and wine club memberships.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in tasting rooms, hospitality, luxury service, or retail sales.
• Strong sales aptitude with ability to confidently recommend wines, experiences, merchandise, and wine club memberships.
• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional hospitality by welcoming guests, presenting the winery portfolio, and conducting engaging wine tastings, tours, and educational experiences.
• Create personalized and memorable guest experiences through in-depth knowledge of wines, winemaking practices, viticulture, winery history, and brand storytelling.
• Conduct Biodynamic Tram Tours, Tribute Tours, seated tastings, and other elevated hospitality experiences as scheduled.
• Drive sales performance by promoting wine, merchandise, data capture and wine club memberships while confidently recommending products and experiences that align with guest interests.
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales, wine club acquisition, and guest engagement goals.
