Job summary

Benziger Family Winery is seeking a part-time Wine Specialist Tour Guide to deliver elevated hospitality through guided tours, tastings, and educational storytelling rooted in biodynamic practices and winery history.

You will drive sales for wine, merchandise, and wine club memberships while ensuring personalized guest experiences. The role requires flexibility for Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and potential additional days, with a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in tasting rooms, hospitality, luxury service, or retail sales.
• Strong sales aptitude with the ability to confidently recommend wines, experiences, merchandise, and wine club memberships.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hospitality by welcoming guests, presenting the winery portfolio, and conducting engaging tastings, tours, and educational experiences.
• Promote wines, merchandise, and wine club memberships to drive sales while aligning with guest interests.
• Conduct Biodynamic Tram Tours, Tribute Tours, seated tastings, and other elevated hospitality experiences.
• Process transactions accurately through the POS system with integrity and accountability.
• Represent the winery professionally at all times and assist with setup, breakdown, and cleaning of spaces.
• Support events and collaborate with team members to deliver best-in-class hospitality.
