City Winery is seeking a Retail Wine Associate to deliver exceptional guest service and drive retail and merchandise sales. You will handle communications, assist with selections, and lead Wine Club sign-ups while coordinating tours and tastings with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year prior experience in a retail wine setting or hospitality.
• Understanding of wine varietals, tasting notes, and service.
• Excellent hospitality and guest service skills.
• Polished presentation and professional demeanor.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in English, with good math and data skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage guest correspondence via phone and email for wine and merchandise sales.
• Assist guests with wine and merchandise selection.
• Drive Wine Club sign-ups and manage after sales service and pickups.
• Promote retail wine sales through weekly onsite tastings.
• Educate front of house staff on retail wine and merchandise.
• Maintain accurate POS and inventory data (Toast, Houseager, Beveager).
• Coordinate promotions with the Retail Wine Director.
• Oversee onsite retail shelves organization and inventory.
• Maintain a presentable sales floor and conduct winery tours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
