Job summary

St. Francis Winery & Vineyards in Sonoma Valley is seeking a part-time Wine Educator to deliver elevated tasting experiences, tell the winery story, and build guest relationships through exceptional service.

You will host a variety of formats, promote wine club memberships, meet sales goals, and educate guests on sustainable winemaking, appellations, and our heritage.

This role includes weekends and occasional evenings, a base hourly wage with tips, bonuses, and a 5% commission on wine sales.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high-end hospitality, wine, or sales.
• Ability to deliver luxury-level service with a hospitality mindset.
• Willingness to work weekends and occasional evenings.
• Passion for sustainability and sharing that knowledge with guests.
• Comfort using modern hospitality technologies.

Responsibilities

• Host guests in a variety of tasting formats, including the tasting bar, seated indoor and outdoor experiences, Wine & Food Pairings, guided Trolley Tours, and high-touch Member engagements.
• Deliver personalized, memorable experiences that exceed guest expectations and build long-term brand loyalty.
• Promote wine club memberships, exclusive releases, and wine purchases to meet sales goals.
• Meet and exceed daily and monthly sales goals while fostering community with guests and teammates.
• Educate guests on the history of St. Francis Winery, winemaking philosophy, and Sonoma County appellations.
