Job summary

Sixty Vines in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a customer-focused server to provide welcoming service of food and beverages, including wine pairings. You will help guests with menu details, maintain clean stations, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment.

The role requires strong English communication, the ability to stand for long periods, and a willingness to learn about our seasonal wine-country menu. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to clearly communicate with guests and team members.
• Experience handling cash and processing payments.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work, in proper uniform.
• Accurately ring in all food and beverage orders in the computer.
• Stock and replenish stations as needed, including polished silverware and glassware.
• Assist guests with menu questions, including liquor, beer, and wine knowledge.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver, place, and remove food at tables.
• Pre-bus and maintain clean tables throughout the shift.
• Communicate questions or issues to management promptly.
