Job summary

Sixty Vines in Raleigh is seeking a friendly, energetic host/hostess to greet guests, manage reservations, and guide guests to seating with warm hospitality. You will maintain a clean entrance and coordinate with team members to ensure a smooth guest experience.

We value punctuality, a polished appearance, and the ability to answer questions about the menu and hours. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to engage with guests in a wine country-inspired environment.

Qualifications

• Fun, energetic and professional attitude.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Prior restaurant experiences is desired, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with all guests and co-workers in a professional, hospitable, and friendly manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work.
• Proper uniform should be worn at all times including dress, makeup, hair, and jewelry. Accept and book reservations.
• Offer alternative times when desired times are unavailable to ensure guest participation.
• Calculate, note, and quote accurate wait times.
• When wait is long, guide guests to the bar for cocktails and appetizers.
• Keep floors and entrances clean and free of debris.
• Assist in bussing tables when waiting or a table is needed immediately.
• Provide guest right of way and directions around the restaurant.
• Thank departing guests and welcome new ones joining us.
• Be familiar with restaurant information to answer questions or address concerns.
• Answer phone calls and direct to proper department; communicate hours, menu, prices, directions.
