Job summary

GALLO is seeking a Guest Ambassador to create memorable hospitality experiences at our winery. You’ll be the first contact for reservations, walk‑ins, and events, greeting guests with warmth, guiding seating, and helping tailor experiences to their interests while supporting daily operations on‑site.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) plus 1 year in hospitality, ability to lift 45 lbs, weekend/evening work, and up to 5% travel for onboarding and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of hospitality experience.
• Able to read, interpret simple instructions and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers.
• Capable of following written or oral instructions.
• Must be at least 21 years old; willing to work holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a team environment and conflict resolution skills.
• Lift and move up to 45 lbs; travel up to 5% as needed.
• Minimum age 18 years; other age requirements noted in posting.

Responsibilities

• Create memorable guest experiences as the primary contact for reservations and walk‑ins.
• Assist with seating, special events, and guest requests to exceed expectations.
• Support retail and tasting room activities, including merchandise displays and transactions.
• Collaborate with hospitality and retail teams to maintain a welcoming space.
• Contribute to smooth daily operations and on‑site guest service excellence.
