Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years customer service experience.
• 3+ years in food service purchasing/merchandising perishable goods.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of product buying, pricing, and inventory.
• Alcohol and food safety certifications; able to obtain within 1 month.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day department operations and maintain performance standards.
• Develop and implement operating standards and procedures.
• Communicate with Store Management and HR about issues and opportunities.
• Supervise team performance and conduct; provide coaching.
• Lead recruitment, retention and engagement of department staff.
• Maintain budgeting, costings, pricing, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety and food safety regulations.
• Maintain strong product knowledge across wine, beer, and cheese.
• Train team members and conduct performance evaluations.
