Waters Edge Winery & Bistro is seeking an experienced Wine Ambassador to oversee bar operations and deliver an exceptional beverage experience for guests. You will manage daily service, lead the team, and ensure quality standards across wine, cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings.

The ideal candidate has strong wine knowledge, leadership experience in hospitality, excellent guest service, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Wine Ambassador, Lead Bartender, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, beer, and beverage service.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of wine, cocktails, beer, and beverage offerings.
• Assist guests with beverage recommendations, including wine pairings.
• Monitor inventory levels and place beverage orders as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of wine, beer, and spirits.
• Create and update cocktail menus and seasonal beverage offerings.
• Maintain consistency in drink quality and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area.
• Collaborate with management on promotions, events, and wine tastings.
• Track and manage bar costs, waste, and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with scheduling and staff coverage as needed.
• Provide excellent guest service and resolve concerns professionally.
