Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of wine bar operations, including service, food preparation, and beverage offerings
• Manage inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels of wines, spirits, and related supplies
• Oversee POS system for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Train and develop staff in food handling, customer service, and responsible alcohol service to maintain high standards
• Coordinate shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between team members while maintaining efficiency
• Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across the bar and kitchen areas
• Lead staff recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training to foster a motivated team environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, kitchen management, or culinary roles within a fast-paced restaurant or bar setting
• Strong background in restaurant management, supervising teams, and food service operations
• Familiarity with POS systems, experience with cash handling and inventory control is essential
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
• Demonstrated leadership in hospitality management with experience in training & development and staff supervision
• Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling best practices within the food industry
• Prior casual dining or fine dining experience preferred; banquet or catering background is a plus
• Ability to manage budgets, perform shift management duties effectively, and oversee food production processes
