Job summary
Tekvana Inc. is seeking a Windows/VMware Technical Lead for onsite work in Orlando, FL. You will lead administration of Windows Server environments and VMware platforms, driving patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management while performing migrations and cloud hybrid projects.
Responsibilities include automation initiatives, incident management, RCA, and ensuring ITIL-compliant governance and documentation. This role requires hands-on L3 experience and client-facing onsite engagement.
Qualifications
- Windows Server environments administration and tuning
- VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter management and lifecycle
- Enterprise patching lifecycle for Windows OS and VMware stack
- Security hardening and vulnerability management practices
- OS and VMware upgrades and migrations (P2V/V2V/Hybrid)
- Automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve reliability
- Monitoring, RCA and SLA adherence with on-call support
- Documentation and ITIL-aligned governance procedures
Responsibilities
- Lead Windows Server environments administration and support
- Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter components and lifecycle
- Own patching cycles for Windows OS and VMware stack
- Drive vulnerability management and security hardening
- Plan and execute OS/VMware upgrades and migrations
- Lead physical to virtual, on-prem to cloud transformations
- Drive infrastructure automation and IaC initiatives
- Maintain monitoring, RCA analysis, and incident response
- Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and governance
