The Systems/LAN Administrator at the Phoenix Department of Emergency and Military Affairs will manage server infrastructure, coordinate resolutions to help desk issues, and apply patches and security fixes to ensure high availability. Qualifications

Experience with Windows OS on desktop and server platforms.
Understanding of infrastructure technologies, system software, hardware, and networking interconnectivity.
Intermediate troubleshooting and ability to perform server builds and lifecycle management.
Strong customer service and solid written/oral communication abilities.
Active IAT II certification such as Security+ or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Preferred certifications in VMware or Microsoft Windows Server/Azure.

Responsibilities

The Systems/LAN Administrator processes and coordinates resolution of help desk trouble calls while administering server infrastructure.
Implements patches and security fixes and monitors system reliability and availability.
Performs daily server analysis, incident investigation, and backup validation.
Provides advanced troubleshooting support for complex technical issues escalated from service desk staff.
