Job summary

Mountain Park Health Center in Phoenix is seeking a Systems Engineer I to maintain and support enterprise IT applications and server environments, both on-site and remotely as needed. You will collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement modern technologies, manage Active Directory/Azure AD, patch management, and datacenter operations to ensure system health and availability.

• Four (4) years of IT experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• One (1) year of systems administration experience (preferred).
• Experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, Virtualization (Nutanix, Hyper‑V and/or VMware), Hyperconverged Platform, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, or Azure (preferred).
• Healthcare related application support experience (preferred).
• Management experience in SaaS, IaaS, PowerShell, and enterprise systems and backup (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Contributes to administration of enterprise server builds, IaaS, and hypervisor standards.
• Administers Active Directory and Azure AD and related services.
• Manages patching and patch management platforms.
• Maintains on‑prem and hosted enterprise applications and datacenter hardware.
• Supports datacenter hardware, environmental monitoring, and storage hardware/software.
• Oversees backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Travel to multiple locations as required.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Description

The Systems Engineer I is responsible for maintaining and administration of all Mountain Park Health Center Information Technology (IT) enterprise applications and server environments, on-site and remotely. This role Collaborates with Systems Engineer II & III and helps to research, design, and implement modern technologies, services, and solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Contributes to the administration of enterprise server build, IaaS, and hypervisor platform standards.
• Administers Active Directory, Azure AD, domains, and related services.
• Administers enterprise patching and patch management policies and platforms.
• Administers on-prem and hosted enterprise applications, server environments, datacenter hardware, environmental controls, and monitoring, ensuring continued application, server, and environment health.
• Contributes to the evaluation, procurement, asset management, and disposition of systems datacenter, power, environmental monitoring, and storage hardware and software.
• Administers datacenter hardware and environmental monitoring systems.
• Administers and monitors backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
• Travel to multiple locations during shift and within a reasonable amount of time.
• Performs other duties as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
• Four (4) years of IT experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications :

• One (1) year of systems administration experience.
• Experience in one of the following areas: Windows Server, Active Directory, Virtualization (Nutanix, Hyper‑V and/or VMware), Hyperconverged Platform, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, or Azure.
• Healthcare related application support experience.
• Management experience in SaaS, IaaS, PowerShell, and enterprise systems and backup.
