Job summary

The Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA) is hiring a Systems/LAN Administrator for the Papago Park Military Reservation in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on processing, documenting, and coordinating resolution of trouble calls, administering server infrastructure, applying patches, and ensuring compliance with system standards.

You will monitor server reliability, participate in continuous improvement of workplace culture, and support incident response with the help desk.

Qualifications

Knowledge of a variety of operating systems (e.g., Windows) on desktop and server.
Infrastructure technologies and in-house enterprise applications.
Customer service principles for a wide range of support services.
System software, hardware and networking interconnections.

Responsibilities

Analyze servers daily, identify incidents, generate reports, and investigate activity.
Monitor and maintain server-hosted services and applications, including cybersecurity apps.
Perform server builds and lifecycle management from initial install to decommissioning.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and communicate resolutions to the Service Desk.
