Job summary

TriCom Technical Services, Inc. in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Windows System Administrator to support and maintain Windows Server, Microsoft 365, cloud, and IT infrastructure environments.

The role handles deployments, monitoring, and escalated issues, and supports infrastructure projects for reliability, security, and performance. Responsibilities include administering Windows Server, AD, Exchange Online, Teams, and Intune; configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting servers and cloud services;

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Windows systems administration or IT infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, or Intune.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience troubleshooting servers, applications, system performance, and infrastructure issues.
• Experience with system monitoring, backup, recovery, and patching.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, and related infrastructure.
• Support Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and Intune.
• Configure, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot servers, systems, applications, and cloud services.
• Manage user access, permissions, group policies, and system configurations.
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure and system issues.
• Support virtualization, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Assist with Azure and other cloud infrastructure administration.
• Plan and complete infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology projects.
• Maintain system documentation, procedures, inventories, and knowledge base articles.
• Serve as an escalation point for Service Desk and other technical support teams.
