Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde seeks a mid-level Windows Systems Administrator to maintain and support Windows Server and Active Directory. You will perform patching, backups, security, documentation, and project work, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.

Responsibilities cover AD, group policy, access management, vulnerability review, and escalation as needed. Eligible candidate should have an associate degree and 3+ years of production experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience in IT.
• Three+ years of hands-on Windows Server and Active Directory in production.
• Availability for after-hours maintenance and urgent incidents.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, patch, upgrade, troubleshoot Windows Server systems including domain controllers.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, and Group Policy Objects.
• Enforce least-privilege access; audit accounts and service accounts.
• Review vulnerability reports; coordinate remediation planning with IT teams.
• Document procedures, tests, and rollback steps for changes.
