Overview

Are you interested in using your skills to help shape the Cyber, Security, & Intel space? If so, look no further. We are seeking a System Administrator 2 to join our team of passionate individuals on a Prime contract based out of Columbia, Maryland. In this role you will support challenging, mission‑critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation’s security and intelligence mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Provide day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and other IT assets.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier II (Escalation) problems.
• Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
• Support dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems; install/load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, configure network components, and implement OS enhancements.
• Operate daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Aid users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
• Provide in‑depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.

Qualifications

• Clearance required: TS/SCI.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a System Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. If no bachelor’s degree, four additional years of SA experience may be substituted for a total of 14 years of experience.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level 1.

Compensation

$160,000 - $180,000

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
