Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. is seeking a Windows System Administrator to support the Maryland office under a new prime contract. You will implement, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows-based IT systems and provide Tier I/II support, escalating issues as needed.

The role requires DoD8570.01‑M compliance, IAM Level I certification, and a TS/SCI Poly security clearance. Compensation ranges from $140,000 to $180,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience as a System Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or 14 years total experience in lieu of degree).
• DoD8570.01‑M compliance and IAM Level I certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows and mostly Windows-based IT systems.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components.
• Perform day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Deliver TierI (Help Desk) and Tier2 (Escalation) support, diagnosing and resolving issues, and escalating as needed.
• Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems and assist users with system access.
• Optimize system operations, analyze capacity, and plan for resources.
• Provide escalated ticket reporting and status communication to agency management and internal customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; alternatively, four (4) additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a total of fourteen (14) years of experience.
• Compliance with DoD8570.01‑M and minimum IAM LevelI certification.

Clearance

Security clearance required: TS/SCI Poly.

Compensation

$140,000 – $180,000 (annually, subject to variation based on responsibilities, experience, and market data).
