Windows Systems Administrator

Location: Charleston, SC
Clearance: Secret with upgrade to Top Secret

As a Windows System Administrator, you will play an integral role on the NIWC Atlantic Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) Infrastructure and Platform Sustainment (CIPS) team. You will support local and remote user desktop machines and servers, focusing on systems and application stability, security, performance, capacity management, and documentation. This position requires a four-day, ten-hour work schedule.

Position Requirements and Duties:
  1. Responsible for the sustainment of systems within an enterprise-class environment.
  2. Provide support for emergent Windows operating system issues.
  3. Demonstrate competence and adaptability in all areas of Windows systems administration.
Qualifications:
  • US Citizen
  • TS Clearance eligibility
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems such as:
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Dell laptops, notebooks, and mobile workstations.
  • Server hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills.
  • SharePoint administration experience.
  • Knowledge of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
  • Experience working in classified spaces.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database.
  • Knowledge of McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and related tools.
  • Familiarity with Apache Tomcat.
Certifications:
  • DoD 8570 IAT II & CNDSP Infrastructure Support
Additional Information:
  • Re-location to the primary work location is required.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.
