Veriipro is hiring a Windows Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability and deployment of third-party business apps across Windows thin-client, thick-client and web stacks. You will be the technical bridge between vendors, app owners and infrastructure teams, promoting safe releases and healthy operations.

You will learn each vendor architecture, move releases through environments, and drive automation to reduce toil while ensuring steady, observable service health.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting enterprise Windows apps in SRE or related roles.
• Hands-on packaging: MSI/MST, MSIX or App-V, silent installs, plus Orca/InstallShield/Advanced Installer/PSADT.
• Software distribution via SCCM/MECM and/or Intune.
• Strong Windows Server/client administration: services, registry, permissions, GPO, AD.
• Experience with thin/thick clients and IIS-hosted web apps (Citrix/RDS/AVD).
• Experience with third-party vendor software and vendor teams.
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions; Git.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and toil reduction.
• Experience deploying across environments under ITIL/change control.
• SQL Server knowledge for app DBs and troubleshooting.
• Monitoring/observability tools: SCOM, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Azure Monitor.
• Clear written communication for runbooks, RCAs, vendor escalations.

Responsabilités

• Vendor application ownership: document stack, dependencies, and integration points.
• Act as technical POC with vendors for releases, patches and SLAs.
• Package and customize Windows apps for silent deployment (MSI, MSIX, App-V, PSADT).
• Maintain a versioned package library and distribute via SCCM/MECM or Intune.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for vendor apps (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Promote releases through Dev/Test/UAT/Prod with rollback plans and smoke tests.
• Deploy and configure web apps on IIS and thin-client apps on Citrix/RDS/AVD.
• Lead post-production ops: monitoring, toil reduction and runbooks.
