Job summary
University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Professional Staff member to support and monitor Windows Server environments on physical and virtual servers. The role includes configuring VRA specs for new virtual servers, applying patches, and maintaining hardware.
You will work with IT application teams to ensure software compatibility and provide tier 3 IT support across the UAMS network.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 1 year of relevant experience in two areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 1 year of relevant experience in two areas.
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field with 2 years of related experience.
- High School diploma/GED with 3 years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor the Windows Server environment on physical and virtual servers.
- Manage configuration specs in VRA for new/updated virtual servers.
- Maintain OS patch levels and hardware in the data center.
- Collaborate with IT applications teams to assess software compatibility with the UAMS environment.
