Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
• 3–5+ years of hands‑on systems administration or related IT infrastructure experience
• Experience supporting production environments and enterprise infrastructure
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure, including Entra ID and access controls
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi or Hyper‑V
• Experience with server hardware, storage, SAN/NAS, and backup technologies
• Understanding networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
• Experience with system monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.)
• OS patching, firmware upgrades, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, hardening
• Backup, disaster recovery, and high availability concepts
• Endpoint/server security, antivirus/EDR, certificate management
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams
• U.S. citizenship is required and ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows servers and applications
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• Support Entra ID/Azure AD and hybrid identity environments
• Administer virtualization environments (VMware vSphere/ESXi or Hyper‑V)
• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and related services
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to remediate vulnerabilities
• Manage enterprise backup and recovery systems
• Monitor servers and infrastructure with monitoring tools
• Maintain enterprise file servers, shares, and permissions
